Love, love, love

Zoe 'n Me Love love love

Ciccu never lays down in the car, he is always on watch.

Zoe will go from the front to the back, look out the windows and sometimes curl up in the corner. But not Ciccu, he sits, looking out the window or giving us directions no matter how long he is in the car.

Recently we were coming back from a long beach walk and we looked behind us to see Zoe leaning on Ciccu and asleep. By the time we grabbed the camera and slowed the car down her eyes were open but we were able to catch a glimpse of the moment. Granted it was a blurry one so I added an artistic element in Photoshop to capture the feeling. As we embark on this day of love we should all be so lucky to have a trusted partner we can lean on when we are tried. Happy Valentine’s Day.

I’ve been reading your blog since you commeted on a Facebook post from Dooce/Heather Armstrong. I really enjoy reading about Zoe. She is beautiful and it seems you two are quite the team. I have two dogs, a 12-year old Chocolate Lab who I’ve had since she was 7 weeks. She and I are two peas in a pod. I also have a 1.9 year old Redbone Coonhound. She’s a nut, that one. They both keep me in love and smiles.

    Hi Alison,
Thank you so much for reading! I have been a fan of Dooce for so many years how nice to meet a fellow fan.
Yeah we are for sure a team, and I am so beyond thankful for her. Oh how sweet are you and your lab? It is amazing how they totally change your life isn’t it? Do you have photos? I bet the Coonhound is keeping things lively! How wonderful, thank you so much for sharing.
    Happy Valentine’s Day!
