Pond Adventures
So… what happens when it rains on a muddy trail? It creates ponds of muddy goodness.
And those ponds of muddy goodness… they are Zoe’s fav!
We recently got 7 inches of rain in about 72 hours in Santa Barbara. And here is the thing, we are in a drought, a massive, massive drought. So when it rains that much in a short period of time the earth isn’t ready to soak it all up, so it sits. And when said dog goes to explore the trail she finds said muddy goodness and she… LAYS. DOWN. As you can see above, she LOVES it.
So when my step-brother and his girlfriend brought their new puppy to meet Zoe, we thought what better way to get them introduced than some time on a trail. And well, of course, some muddy goodness.
