When I was a kid there were a group of multi-colored bears and characters on a children’s show called the Care Bears. The creators were probably focused on better living through chemistry based on the amount of rainbows that would shoot out through the bears belly’s. But when I was 6 years old I thought these colorful cuddly bears were fantastic.

There are about five or six locations around Santa Barbara that we rotate for daily adventures. One of the closest is a rugged trail/park, in the fall it is full of foxtails and ticks, and during the winter it is extremely muddy. The spring brings beautiful flowers and in the summer it is all cleared out to escape any fire danger.
